Var-Fac

Variable factor for the directly defined loads of the load case (without Load Sets) This factor is used in dynamic time history calculations. The name of the Variable (expression, table) representing the time diagram of the loading, is entered. (total factor in dynamic analyses = Const-Fac + Var-Fac ! ) Note: The function Var-Fac describes the time dependency of the deviation of the load from a constant level. Const-Fac has to be set to 0.0, if the time dependency of the actual loading should be specified!

Option: Directly defined loading can be increased

This option relates to the load increase in the actions Buckle and Failure, if the option "Only Variable load sets" is there selected. The directly defined loading is in this context considered as an individual load set, which will not be increased, if the option "Directly defined loading can be increased" is not selected |
